Your parent survey on distant learning. Was the survey takers randomly selected? Was the survey online? How did you control for duplicated survey takers?
The survey was offered on our website, Facebook page, in our member newsletter several times, and in newsletters by partners. Anyone could respond, but it was directed to parents and respondents needed to give their keiki school(s). We counted responses from email addresses just once. The survey had over 500 responses, but obviously that is a small percentage of the families in Hawai‘i. And it is titled towards those who are PPS-Hawai‘i members, use Facebook or are in touch with one of the other partner groups. So we have not posited that these are conclusive, scientific, results– they just offer the responses of these families.
